Marianna--Senior Stylist

Marianna is the quintessential stylist: artistic, precise, fun, and friendly. She has worked in the beauty business for over a decade, specializing in refreshing her clients with fashionable haircuts and shapely waxing.  If she could cut anyone’s hair, she’d like to travel back in time to style Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe.  If she could have any band play her birthday party, she’d book the original lineup of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Margaret (Margie)--Stylist

One day, Margie’s mom, a stylist herself, brought home a mannequin head with long curly hair.  That’s all it took for the then 11 year old Margie to get inspired.  The beauty industry is the ideal environment for Margie for it allows her to do what she loves—create art and in the process make people happy.  And when she’s not creating happiness in the salon, she enjoys being at home with her husband and their twin boys, refinishing furniture, quizzing her sons on current spelling chapters and preparing delicious meals like pistachio encrusted halibut with balsamic cream sauce.

Raphael (Ralph)—Stylist

Rafael brings passion, enthusiasm and professionalism to Metro Salon.  A 5-year veteran of the beauty industry, including time at leading color company Goldwell, Raphael has a deep understanding of color processing as well as precise cutting techniques and glamorous blow-outs .  Outside of Metro he champions black and white film photography, the natural beauty of Upstate New York and “The Great Gatsby”.

Joanna—Nail Technician, CMP

Joanna has spent nearly a decade luxuriating both hands and feet.  She is a Certified Master Pedicurist with advanced training in infection control.  An artist both inside and out of the salon, Joanna believes in "giving people an escape from their everyday lives, while making them feel beautiful". She's also a historical fiction buff and a cheesy sci-fi geek with a slight Dr. Who obsession.

Michael Koldan is the Salon Coordinator.
